Unto the World I Give

Unto the world I give
My soul, my heart, my spirit alive,
For my evermore will it strive
To make the world a better place, despite all strife.

In my words, my thoughts, my deeds,
Will I strive to bear fruit of fruitful seeds,
That all future generations need
A world of peace and love, not of deeds of dread.

It saddens me that I can't personally view
All that shall be, in such a distant hue,
But this I know to be true:
My love and lasting hope will surely still come through.
