My eyes alight with wonder, my heart in awe,

For the metamorphic marble tile I saw.

From the heavens it came in a sapphire size,

Bringing shimmer and glimmer, joy, and surprise.

Though many years have come and gone by,

This gem still captivates me, no matter where I fly.

And I'm reminded of the beauty of this life,

The little moments, wonder and strife.

Though it may have been crafted from the sky,

It's given me an appreciation for all that flies by.
