Alone in the Wilderness

I depart from evergreen pine,
But I'll never truly escape from its line.
In this grassy land I stand
Alone in the wilderness.

An endless horizon at my feet,
I look out at a harmony so sweet.
The wind and birds, and the dripping mist,
Are my Grass and Pine Symphony's cast.

The sun sets how each day does,
On the horizon forever chasing its hues.
The world all around me is spinning anew,
But in my heart peace is ever true.
