Nighttime in the great city of Chicago,
Illuminated lights so beautiful and free,
Bright and sparkling, they stretch before me,
And paint a canvas of pure harmony.

Taxis and buses can be seen hustling,
There's hustle and bustle of big city living,
This bright city, come alive and alive,
All night long, Chicago lights keep on giving.

The glow of the city holds such wonders and dreams,
Dancers and music and laughter a plenty,
There's history, stories to explore in between,
The lights of the city outshine the day star so clearly.
