At night I stand beneath the stars,
On the banks of the river I ponder my heart,
The murky depths beneath are hidden from me,
But I can see my reflection.

The gentle waves ripple and move,
In the moonlight I dance with joy,
The world I see in the river,
Is mine to explore and bless.

I watch the sky turn pale,
As dawn starts to draw near,
On the riverbank I shall always stay,
Eternal gratitude and joy I find here.
