Luring me in, I can't take my eyes off the sight

Tantalizing my taste buds, I take a bite

The sweet peas, plump and juicy, I savor their flavor

The crisp green lettuce, I can’t help but to savor

Eggplant, green beans, and bell peppers yellow

I’d never thought a garden could be so mellow

The sight of the ripe garden, I must confess

Gives me an appetite, nothing can suppress
