A Serenade of Comfort

The pouring rain shall not disturb me,
It’s sanctuary I seek and shall find here,
But for a moment I stop and listen,
To this calm and peaceful scenery.

The sheets of rain are enveloping,
The shelter I’ve found fulfils my longing,
The break from the storm I have taken,
In this moment of peace I am soaken.

As the storm slowly fading away,
My sanctuary slowly melts away,
The calmness deep I will slowly keep,
Knowing one day again I will seek.
