Verse one, it's a stellar jaunt,

Heading out on a lunar ascent,

The engines burning bright,

As we rocket off into the night.



Verse two, we follow the stars,

The control room silent like a graveyard,

Arcing out at escape velocity,

To a place that we hope to be.



Verse three, we finally reach the moon,

A majestic sight to be seen soon,

Our mission accomplished with plenty of glee,

As we slice through the atmosphere’s sea.



Verse four, we ignite the reentry phase,

The heat shield glowing giving off a blaze,

Descending towards earth,
