A Sailor's Lament:

Ahoy me mates, just settin' sail
for whatever comes beyond the veil
we ride strong 'cross these dusk'd waves
it's a path that our courage saves

I see beauty in the fading light
as it dims around my vessel's plight
gently wailing 'gainst the boundless sea
a familiar call, 'tis all that be

And I, a traveler the world through
am grateful for this peaceful view
so come and sail with me this day
in sunlight, or in real-life's way.
