Rowing on the midnight sea in my red kayak
In the still of night, no one to hear me sing
The waves rock me gently, so I take to the oar
I hum a sweet melody, no one knows it more

The clouds are my stage, the stars are my audience
The moon is my light, I dance to my own chance
The ocean a witness, its depths an abode
I am singing my song, no voice to corrode

My heart is the orchestra, I keep the tune alive
My heartstrings they stir, the rhythm they contrive
In the red kayak, singing with the breeze
As I drift farther away, my midnight serenade
