Fair isle, whose beauties ever glow,
Girt by the crystal sea below,
Thy constant loveliness I see,
E'er change and yet e'er timeless beauty.

Thou softly smiling in thy bliss,
Graced by the sun's serenest kiss,
Thou fruit of Nature's patient care,
Thy sight shall soothe my every care.

And should my life at last be o'er,
May I not to thy bosom soar,
Where endless peace and beauty bind,
Until the end of mortal kind.
