A warhorse bids us heed;

White flags of peace have flown,

But battles must still be seen.

The iron of the horse will be clad,

And the mavens of the night

Shall charge forth at night fall,

To meet the enemy in the fight.

The call for courage is loud,

The courage of valiant hearts

Could not be kept from the ground.

Hark the glory of battle now,

Through fields of courage go;
