The Rapids of Success

Rapids dash and carry me forward still
Though I weave between rocks and churning waters, I remain strong and fill
For I remember, through each twist and turn
That greatness lies ahead, and each challenge must be earned

The hurdles of life may be terrifying to behold
But if I keep my focus, I will reach my place of gold
No matter the storm and all its might
I will reach the shore and finally see the light

The rapids take me closer to my goals
The future I hope, bathes me in better joys
And while they may be dangerous, they hold promise and relief
So as I pass through, I shall find contentment, and personal belief
