I graze in the white snow and the black night,
A silent mourner in the pastoral sight.
Tis this false nature that does seem to be true,
But I might prove to go out of view.

My spirit is blues softened by the hue,
Perhaps of a lamb I can go seek respite too.
But I lay low in this lonely night,
Where blooms not even the lonesome light.
